Join us for our one-hour evening boat trip out of Keauhou Harbor to snorkel with manta rays just off the Big Island. This nighttime snorkeling excursion is a must-do on Hawaii! Once we’ve reached our snorkel site, you slide into the Pacific Ocean and grab onto our light board. Not only is this for your stability in the water, but the underwater dive lights also attract the phytoplankton, or dinner for our manta rays.
As we float, you watch the mantas gracefully glide and swoop through the waters, sometimes just inches from you, as they feed on their nightly buffet. Experience the thrill of this once-in-a-lifetime adventure of snorkeling at night with Hawaii’s manta rays! We’re in the water for about 45 minutes and then it’s just a short five-minute cruise back to the harbor.
On the rare occasion you don’t see any manta rays, you can join with us again for free on the next available scheduled Big Island manta ray snorkel tour (pending space availability).
